ITI Technical College

EARL J. MARTIN JR., an instrument technician, founded ITI Technical College in 1973. He developed the teaching philosophy and personal interest in students that are still the guiding principles of ITI Technical College today. In 1981, ITI received accreditation by the Accrediting Commission of the National Association of Trade and Technical Schools, known now as the Accrediting Commision of the Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. ITI Technical Colelge began offering classes at the current modern facilities in 1979.
Since then, courses have been added to the curriculum to widen the scope of the students and to more directly serve the needs of the business and industrial community. In 1993, the name of the school changed from International Technical Institute to ITI Technical College. In that same year, ITI became a degree-granting institution, offering Associate of Occupational Studies degrees.
