UAS has adapted the time-proven liberal arts formula to its pristine forest surroundings. Imagine studying natural science on the Mendenhall Glacier, fisheries while knee-deep in salmon, or learning literature and the environment where John Muir explored. The UAS curriculum has evolved as naturally as the glacier-fed lakes and streams that surround our campus.
